Are you worried about a food shortage?

It’s probably coming, with water scarcity, climate change migration, a subsidized monoculture industry, unsustainable farming practices in regions that are not able to sustain them without major environmental impact, population growth, food wasted and sent to landfills, acidification of the ocean and the destruction of fish habitats, pollution of streams and rivers destruction of game lands for fracking and lumber industries, basically all modern human activity has caused a major catastrophe that is only going to take a couple hundred years to destroy the planets ecology.
Not really. There are endless numbers of rabbits and ground squirrels running around here. A suppressed Ruger 10-22 will make short work of them and move them into the pot.
My husband is a major pepper. We've stored a huge pantry of dried, canned, pickled and frozen food along with some other foods that may get scarce.
Yes. If the Republicans don't take the house and senate in November, we're all doomed.

At that point I would grow my own food and call it a day 🤷♂️
But really, I'm never going to get to a point where I cannot go in a store and get something to eat. You're going to tell me all the convenience stores, all the grocery stores nearby me are going to be empty? How lol?
Not worried about the 'food shortage' I was taught to have at least 3 months of shelf stable foods in my cupboards, not including what is in my freezers, If I include what's in the freezers I could probably stretch that out to 4 months, and I would be bluestocking with what would be available as time went on.
Personally I think the 'food shortage' is another MSM over hype, part of what we labeled 'Project Fear' over here in the UK
I'm not. Both farming and hunting are a big part of my Grandfathers side of the family. I grew up learning a lot about both. Also I have actively work on a farm and learned how to hunt over the years. So I'm skilled enough to provide for myself.
In the spring and summer we where farming hay and alfalfa. During hunting season where we filling a meet freezer. Also my grandmother always had a vegetables planted. The rest of my family on both sides would pitch in anywhere they could. Simply because it was important for everyone to learn to be self sufficient. It's also the reason why everyone learned how to fish as well.
I think in a lot of ways something like a food shortage shows that more people need to learn basic farming, hunting and fishing skills. Simply because we can become so dependent on grocery store and eating out to the point that they we can't take care of ourselves and our family without them.
Also once you have basic farming, hunting and fishing skills can get the basic tools needed for the three and remove yourself from a bad situation that a potential food shortage can create. Simply because the last you want to be during a food shorting is some where there a lot of people. So if things start going bad in the city I live in, I'm packing up everything I can and taking off.
Around me there's enough growing - my own garden included - to stay alive based on local production.
There's also many feral cats and dogs if something's going REALLY bad :)
As I'm not a city hog - I feel relaxed.
I grow enough food keep myself, my mother, and my two brothers alive even if they aren't thinking ahead. It may not be luxurious food, but they will eat if they need it.
Bring it on. The wildlife around here is abundant. I got the might, and the guns. Lefties can starve in their basement.
I have any caliber you can throw a dart at. I have the knife. I have a bow. Recursive or Compound. I will stick the broadhead in a lefty to eat it's organs too.
No, lol.
I don't eat a lot anyways, lol
I usually stockpile stuff that has been scarce. I had to clear out a closet for extra food.
The same stuff we’ve been doing hunting, fishing and working our garden.
Market will regulate itself. When amount of consumer shrinks, prices will fall and quality will improve.
Yes, with the idiots in charge a food shortage is a real possibility. Anyone who voted for Biden should be ashamed.
No I live in the country so I will never starve and have a garden too
I been preparing since 2020. We are about to go into a depression because of China and Russia.
Yes I am. It's making me bloody nervous.
Here's the thing I don't even eat a lot. I barely eat yet I'm not coping with this whole lot of shenanigans
This country is on its last leg.
I’m worried about buying water I need my water
I'm going to be fully honest, I'll become a raider
