How do you feel about the global potato shortage?

Potatoes are getting expensive which is why some restaurants here barely serve fries, potato chips or other potato side dishes. Good thing I'm not a really big fan of them. I still love potatoes but i don't see myself craving it.

Because there isn't. Only, in the US is it the case and even that it's because of US stupidity under Trump. His shitty trade war with China caused a lot of backlog and dumping of US products and manufacturers.

The USA seems to have pig headed notions that it's problems are the worlds problems, but the worlds problems are their own, unless they involve oil.

It's not just potatoes, there's been major crop failures on all continents for the last three or four years. Several billion people are going to starve to death in the next decade.

On the upside obesity will be down in the richer countries I suppose.
