Girls, How would you react to this gift?

It's my friend's birthday and I have bought her a gift. I have put it together myself from components. I have feelings for my friend and have done from the moment I met her, but she only sees me as a friend, even though I'm sure attraction there initially. I have never admitted my feelings to her, but I think I have said enough that she can put it together. We can be pretty intimate in how we talk and have supported each other through a lot this past year. Even though the relationship isn't what I would like, I do like what we have, for now at least. We have briefly discussed our relationship a few times in the past and the conclusion was it can't be any more than it is because of a few factors like location, conflicting life goals, etc.

Something she says a lot, which I don't agree with at all, is that she feels she is not enough for anyone to take her as a partner. I try to tell her she is wrong and any man would be lucky to have the opportunity to call her his partner, but she doesn't hear me.

As a gift, I have bought a glass vase, filled it with white and black pebbles and some fairy lights, and I am going to give her a bouquet of her favourite flowers to put in the vase too. Aesthetically, I know she will like it.
Now the bit I'm not sure about whether I should follow through; I am going to write on the black stones, each positive quality I see in her which does make her enough. So when she is feeling down, she can pick a stone and know someone sees that quality in her. Qualities such as Beautiful, Kind, Smart, Caring, Charming, Funny, etc.

What would your reaction be if you received this gift as a woman, from me your male friend?
Would you think I have crossed a boundary and I'm being creepy, or would you think it's sweet?
I'm not trying to get her to change her stance on what our relationship is, I just want her to be happier in life and I thought knowing someone can see these qualities in her would give her hope that the man of her dreams will too.

On more important note I would suggest you forget about her. You seem to have put enough effort into her and she doesn't seem interested. You will always expect more, that will build up and you will get hurt. Better cut your loses. Listen, if she was a girl for you she would want to be with you and wouldn't make any excuses. If she is the way she is now it's very likely she will be like that even if you date her, people rarely change. And her being this way could never work. I guarantee you that you will get more reaction from her by being distant and moving on than if you put an effort like this. But dont do it cause of that, really move on for your own sake. Dont bet on a dead horse.
