If you had unlimited money forever, but could only spend it on one category, which category would you pick?

You have been given unlimited money forever, but can only use it for one category of spending or one store. Which category/store do you pick? And why?

Examples would include: travel, food, media/streaming services, sports tickets, home improvement projects, rent, clothing, technology, etc.

Answers that include answers meant to generate more money (ex. Investments, cryptocurrency, etc) aren’t allowed. For this example imagine the resell value of whatever you purchase would be zero. Additionally, purchasing gift cards to use at other stores isn’t allowed either. Basically no trying to get clever to cheat the system.

I would say home improvement projects. It is probably what I have spent the most money on over the years. Then I could have more money to have fun with.

I would use the money to help less fortunate people, donate to hospitals, etc anything to help others in need 🥰

Unless I can barter or say something generic like stuff. I’d die. As I’d only be able to pay for clothing, food or shelter. If I choose food it wouldn’t matter how much money I have. Since I could never pay for rent or clothing with any money ever.

If I can cheat. I’d use The money to buy stock in companies. Until I’m classified as the company’s owner. Then I can have the companies buy whatever I want.

If I can’t use a workaround and can reasonably pay my expenses.. I’d use it for research. Fund the sciences. Sciences would basically get unlimited funding. Ultimately leading to a boon in education and wages around the world. The world would revolve around the sciences. Because there’s so much money available.

I don’t have a car, nobody is going to make me get on a plane, I don’t feel like getting on a plane, I’m not going to get on a plane, I don’t have the patience to deal with what goes on during a plane ride, I don’t gotta worry about missing a stupid flight. Food really? Media/streaming services don’t cost that much money 😂. Waste of money to buy something that I gotta travel to do, I don’t own a home so that’s stupid. I can pay rent with the money that I already have. I can buy clothes with the money that I already have

That would be difficult. I need food, clothing, and shelter at a minimum. Maybe I could spend it on all-inclusive resorts.

Maybe didn’t make it clear enough. Everything else just goes on like normal. So you still have to earn money. Your standard finances apply to everything outside of this one category.

It’s not that you can’t buy other things, it’s just that you only have this bonus apply to one category. Everything else goes on as normal
