Basically what @OlderAndWiser said. The numbers provided by services like blue book are the maximum most buyers will pay and what used car places sell for. But it's not how much a dealership will pay you for a car. That's going to be way, way less. If you want to make money selling a car, best to sell it to a private buyer. Unless your car is in absolute mint condition like it's brand new. In that case, I would try to find a weird private buyer who is obsessed with collecting cars to sell it to.
Actually that sounds fair. Might have to enter your Zip Code:

I would say 6,000 for the car. Used cars are marked down. You could literally get an SUV at 75% off.
ehh that’s too low 😂 that would be a blessing for somebody
There’s websites that price out what your vehicle is worth.
right I know but i want to hear other people ideas also
It’s normally okay to get more than one idea wether it’s the main source or not lol though.
To look at prices and compare love.
Nah, what I wanted was a price LOL but no need to say i’m respectfully not interested in your price. Also obviously I know a true business person looks at what people want all over to get a lot of money back. lol good day this convo is boring me.
Right, you didn’t give me “advice as I wanted” you just kept questioning loll.

You can check Kelley Blue Book, Edmunds, and NADA for online used car valuators. You can also check craigslist, ebay motors, autotrader, and other online markets for the asking price of other similar cars being sold.
Also, the valuation of a vehicle is based on year, make, model, mileage, overall condition, options and features, and even the color of the vehicle.
They offer you a great price on the trade in because they are NOT offering you a great price on the car you are going to purchase. Ask them to negotiate the two transactions separately and you will understand this game.
Did you check the Kelly Blue Book price? You can sell it yourself for more money but you'll have to take the time to show it and let people test drive it. That said, Hondas in good condition move pretty quickly.
Your vehicle is worthless and if you tried to sell it to me, I would report you to the authorities.
Assuming the interior looks good I would advice to check Kelly's Blue Book online and check the value of your car and compare to what the Dealership is offering you, if the money difference isn't big then sell it to the dealer.
For that kind of mileage and it's a SUV without major accident.
$6,000 is a good price to sell for.
May I ask what the dealer offered you?
They offered me 16,000 for a trade in
What about just right out buying it from you?
So how exactly the trade in works? Say you want a car from them that's $10,000 and you pocket the rest?
To me for $1,000! 😄
Try Kelley Blue Book for an estimate.
$5.500
ehh too low
