$800 for a 1989 Oldsmobile.

Didn't have the car long. AC never worked so summer was Hell, and it needed a brand new transmission. As they say, you get what you paid for.

Ended up getting a 2003 Buick LeSabre that lasted me until two years ago.

Now it's a 2015 Kia Forte, nicknamed the Normandy due to my Mass Effect decal stickers.

Got a 1997 Chrysler Sebring for free. I traded a bicycle for a 1991 Dodge caravan. Got a 1997 Saturn for $300. Got a 1993 Toyota tercel for $500. A 2001 Impala for $1000. $1500 for a 66 Chevelle back in 1997, my first car and should have never sold it. Got a 1999 Chevy Suburban for $2500. Got a sweet 1973 Chevrolet K5 Blazer for $6000 and then rolled it.

In 2001, I bought a 1979 Ford F-150 pick up truck for $1000. It was ugly but ran great and had a lumber rack that came in handy. It had an auxiliary gas tank, too. It always passed the smog tests. I used it a lot for almost 20 years.

It was a beetle vw. I just bought it cause I couldn't afford anything better. Eventually sold it cause I was moving and knew it wouldn't make it 20hrs to my new house

I brought my first car when I was 14 paid a lot for it. The cost was $214 dollar. Well the cost was 200 for the car and 14 in taxes. Spent the next 2 years fixing it up so when I was 16 I could drive it legally.
