Can a shoe size 10.5 fit a 10?

I got my friend a b-day gift and a relative of his accidentally told me he’s a 10 when he’s a 10.5. I bought the shoes already so I’m just wondering if the 0.5 matters. It’s a Air Jordan shoe since I heard brand makes a difference

Here in the US, a size 12 (in men's) is twelve inches; each full size is a barleycorn of difference, so a half size is a sixth of an inch. Unless they're VERY precisely fitted, it's not likely to make a difference.

If he's a couch potato good to go... if he's doing anything active in shoes too small he's gonna F up a couple things.

Why not? I wear 16 EEE but I was still able to fit into a pair of red, high-top Chucks size 13!
