I don't buy anything political. It seems to be an extremely touchy subject, plus people like that are nuts. I've even seen people bring up politics when it comes to animal videos on Facebook.

I'm completely ignorant to politics, and literally don't understand any of it. I don't ever want to, so I will never purchase anything deemed political. It's an extremely boring subject, as much as sports is.

* Trump made a deal with the Taliban - the TALIBAN for fuck's sake, as if they could be trusted. He left Biden between a rock and a hard place, and sure it could have been handled better. I agree, but Trump fucked it up from the start, like he always does.

You know, there are millions of people who don't know a single stat or read any data either. They might agree with you on Biden without a shred of information, or disagree with this or that, citing nothing more than emotions.

Take for example the folks screaming "Biden's the cause of high gas prices because he sold oil to China". It's nonsense. If you want to discuss the matter sensibly, you need to know something about the industry.

Most people don't. I barely do, but I know that the information to understand it is out there. Today, the USA is down 11 or 12 refineries from 2017, but we have more domestic oil production than ever. If oil prices stay the same, the ONLY thing that will bring the cost down is if there's more production, and that's slowly taking place.

That's just one example. Supply chain is another, and the numbers about real income and buying power don't lie. I agree - prices are up, buying power is down. But the biggest factor in all this, I believe, is corporate greed. Never in history have there been the kinds of record profits that corporations posted. They used the REAL factor of supply chain issues to increase prices outrageously and far beyond what they needed to maintain a profit margin, and we all paid for it. There is no one reason for ALL of this, but some play a more vital role than others. In this case, it's greed. and everyone, no matter your view, needs to understand that.
