I remember going to one about 25-30 or so years ago and it wasn't a maze at all! It was set up in a grid and sectioned off for each class of home furnishings.
Went there a few years ago and was very confused as to why they turned it into a hideous maze except maybe to get people to stay in the store longer.
Yeah haha they changed a lot then I guess🤔😅
I have been to IKEA many times. I agree with you that it is a maze. But you learn over time.
By the way, I'm Swedish.
Haha :P
20 years? Their stuff looks good but is cheap, and you get what you pay for. I don't think much of it will last 20 years.
Haha yeah it lasts really ling but I don't know 20 years is very long i agree
Oh I love ikea
Yayyy same😌👍
Hehe🙌🙌🙌

Ikea does not have good furniture it has cheap furniture. I have been and it is a very depressing place to be honest because I have built everything in our home by hand and it lasts longer than things from ikea
Well our IKEA furniture and everyone else i know has lasts for over 20 years but you fo what you want. Cool!:)
@exitseven very nice. The wife wanted a larger room added + second floor for the whole house so I have been working on the addition. Also making a dining room table, chairs, desk and a new bedframe and making the railing and stair design for what is going to be the stair case for the second floor. Most of the material comes off our property. A lot of hard work but worth it
@exitseven ehh more I had very strict parents that insisted l learn skills that they deemed "every man should know to have a good life and a happy wife". Some of it could be talent a lot of it is just being taught for 12+ years on subjects my parents deemed appropriate
@exitseven yes and no. Many of the things I learned began at home and then I was put into summer camps, classes, schools for. Some things were school only. My work for the past 13 ish years (I am 39 didn't realize age displayed thought it was verification of being over 16) for example was school and college. Though I also have had to utilize a skill that my family deemed important to learn which was scuba diving. So they taught me how to swim and control my heart rate and breathing and then stuck me in scuba classes until I could take my masters class. Wood working and carpentry started at home with my dad and they placed me in schools for the summer to advance that skill. I was the only 7 year old in that school everyone else was mid to late 20s
@exitseven welding is a very good skill and with things today it is very efficient to learn skills via practice and YouTube. Something that was not around when I was learning things. Flying is also a good skill though less needed however in the event of both pilot and co-pilot being out of commission knowing how to land a plane safely could save a lot of lives
@exitseven if you practice for 30 minutes to an hour a day you'll be far better than 99% of the population at any given skill
@exitseven some things do tend to happen that way. A lot of times hand-made requires it to be complex as the materials is generally cheaper than the finished product. The dining table I am making for example runs around $8k I can build a better one for nearly free as I only have to buy some wood glue, stain and a high gloss finish for it can shape the wood myself
not yet...
but if I ever go to one... I'll start saying, and then shouting... penis!!
lol why would you do that?😂
because I'm a romantic like that... lol
😂😂
have you seen this movie? lol...
it has Ikea...
no.. what is it called?

Nice! Thank you!
I have been before, and remember it being very difficult to relocate furniture that I saw as a potential buy, as well as some sort of difficulty in getting meatballs. Otherwise, I approved of it's space-efficient vastness with fairly wide walkways.
Idea: boldly color- and painted shape-coding for each room on the walls and perhaps ceilings.
For example, green with arches in one room, blue with circles in another, red with squares in a third, etc.
Yeah probably like 15-16 years ago
I don't remember anything but how big it was
Now ins in the ULEZ zone so I don't suspect I'll get back there and don't know if any others local enough
Yeah haha its a big store.
Alright well if you do hope you eat some meatballs😌👍👍
I went to an IKEA store when it first opened. My wife dragged me there. We both thought that it was a bunch of overpriced junk.
🤣 that wasent IKEA then but fun story
Well tiny you can't just walk into such big places without a map, you are too small for that 😣
Yeah.. they give maps but I just look at the signs ans after trying 3 times myself I ask for help and when that doesn't work well eventuellt you'll get out😣😂😂
Tiny just grab a map, they must not be free, if that's the case then I agree, eventually you'll get out 😂
Yeah im not much of a "read and follow the instruction.. person"😅 but next time I should give it a try
That's the tininess talking, still tho stores with maps is crazy 😂
😂😂 The tiny brain can do it on its own😎
Yup it's really really big lol! Like if there is a fire i wonder how many people get out.😂🤣🤔
With enough time any brain can lol
Imagine if all the walls move out of the way during a fire 😂
My brain can do it without the map unlike the other people at IKEA so that shows you enough😌
Yeah maybe it will🤔😂😂 . Its like you go one way straight and cone back to where you started.. you go in there high you never getting out🤣
Okay I'll give it to your tiny brain this time lol
Does it have a second floor cause that would make it easier, wouldn't It? 😂
Thank you GIANT 😌🏆
it has like 5 floors😂
You can't see the door from any of those floors Tiny? 😂
Ayyye look its not like that. Its like a maze.. or whatever its called😂 its built like once you get in you have to pass everything to get out.🤣
So the floor isn't open like a brandsmart that it has a railing you can look down from? It's like a full floor you gotta use an elevator for?
Well kinda. Imagine there is like one place on all levels where the stairs and the elevators are. This place is big and open but once you get into the different categories on any of the levels you are mixed in one of many big categories.. it makes everything very confusing lol..😅
It sounds very complicated, what do they sell there that people participate in this maze? 😂😂
There's an IKEA in Sweden that is 81 000 yards big.. thats kinda big..
Why? There's no reason for a place to be so small 😂
Yes it is🤣😂
They sell furniture. They have models of rooms and all the stuff in the room you can pretty much buy. Like a kitchen, bathroom etc. They got so succeful cause they put a resturuant inside the furniture store which made people stay longer..😄
You think thats small?🥲
So it's like another brandsmart just bigger lmao
And yes it is small Tiny, I'm a giant remember, it's decent sized 😌😂
Yes it is. You should go see it some day!
Alright haha well I think its a huge place lol..😅
All jokes aside it's huge but jokes inside, its decent lol
There's IKEA here so maybe I will one day ha
Yayyy keep me posted😄
And also dont eat their brownie..🤫👀
They have brownies? Why Not? Are they bad? Maybe American IKEAs can bake better 😂
I had their brownie once and no lie i think I fell asleep in my chair.. and I wasent tired when I walked in😢🤔🤣😂😂 so i'd be careful but other than that its good. They are known for their meatballs and their cinnamon buns are deliscious 😋
Tiny did you accidently eat a weed brownie 😂
Who gave you that brownie 😂
I dont know maybe I did 😢😭😂..
Well I payed for a brownie and took the one they gave me😅
That doesn't make sense tho, is weed legal there? 😂
No its illegal🤔😅
That's weird, you sure you weren't just tired tiny 😂
No I'm sure😅 i think it was vegan.. maybe it was some weird grass shit in it😂
Vegan? Sounds like a finesse for weed brownies to me 😂
Daaaamn🤔 maybe it was😣😅 never again lol 🤫😣
That was that strong indica tho if it put you to sleep 😂
Yeah I slept DEEP even longer when I got home.. it had POWER.. I would never have sleeping problems if I ate that brownie before bed.. they should sell it at the pharmacy🤣😂
They wouldn't sell it at a pharmacy, they would sell it at it's own pharmacy known as dispensaries, it's actually used for medical purposes here and insomnia is one of them, there's many ways to consume it, they even have it in tincture where you put a drop under the tongue and it works like that ha
Oh I see lol.. well sounds addicting.. does the body get used to it?
It's not addicting but it can grow to a habit which in a way it's similar to an addiction but addictions are stronger because you crave it to the point you keep going, a weed habit you eventually just get used to no weed again, the addiction kicks like a hunger for it.
So its more like coffee?🤔
Yea basically, maybe a bit different cause the effects are different and you might crave a high more than energy but it depends
Okay makes sense. Thank you GIANT😌👍
Info for next the next time you run into brownies 😂
Yess good to know😌
🤣🤣🐜
actually one is free.
I've never been there because it's not close to my house. I'm surprised that I've never been there because I heard they have free breakfast
yeah they have great food. Although I dont think I ever went to IKEA outside of Sweden.. cause I live in Sweden so I dont know..
I'm short though but im not sure lol😆
not free breakfast.
Love it! Especially the meatballs in the cafeteria at the end!
Yayy! Am happy to hear that! It's good😄😌
I entered one ten years ago and still haven't found myself out of the store. I live in one of their displays now lol. It's been a while but I remember getting lost in one.
sure, ikea is really popular in germany.
Nice! I've been to Germany but mostly Austria. It's beautiful (both)
Been to IKEA many times. It's a good place to get furniture at a decent price.
Never been to one.
You should go!😄
Oh nooo😓😓😓😓 Hope you get to visit one, one day!
