How much do you spend monthly?

hello i am a student from turkey and was wondering how much money yoyu guys spend on a monthly basis? apparently i spend around 67 dollars which makes around 2000 tl. is this ok? this is just for groceries i think. thank you.

Hi, thanks for asking. $67 a month for just groceries is actually pretty darn good budgeting for a student in my opinion. Here's a rough breakdown of my average monthly expenses:

- Rent: $500 (I share an apartment off-campus with roommates)

- Groceries: $150-200 (I try to meal plan and cook at home a lot)

- Gas for my car: $80-100 (I have a bit of a commute)

- Electric/Internet bill: $50-70 (split with roommates)

- Cell phone: $60 (basic plan, no fancy upgrades)

- Streaming services like Netflix/Hulu: $25

- Entertainment/going out expenses: $100-150

- School supplies: $50

- Healthcare/insurance costs: $50

- Savings/Emergencies: $100-150

So on average I'd estimate my total monthly costs are around $1100-1250. I work part-time to help cover it. At $67 a month just for food, you're definitely doing very well! That leaves a lot more flexibility in your budget than most students I know. Keep up the good work - seems like you've got expenses well under control.

There is me and my cousin, we spend about $274.00 on groceries, but I make foods that stretch, I am head of the kitchen. Lol

I save a Lot in The Bank But Mainly Use My Credit Cards Which I Take the Payments out of my Account. It Depends On My Online Orders or Vacations or Holidays. I Know Way Over a Hundred. lolxxoo
