Where do you prefer to shop at online or at Physical stored?

IT's according to what the item is. Clothes often have to be tried on because at one place they fit one way and at another differently. So, trying them on in a store solves that problem.

But seeing and handling certain items, like a hammer, the types of screw threads you need for your project... It depends.

If you're buying a wool hat, sure you can order than online. ONe size fits all. But other things, you might want to see, hold, feel.
