What do you do if the cashier gives you less change at the grocery store?

This is an issue that I attach great importance to. In recent years, I have often seen that the smallest denomination is not given when getting change in supermarkets. Because there is no money in the safe. This is a huge mistake. However, if we pay a few cents less, the product will not be delivered. But when it comes to the cashier who gives less, there seems to be no problem.

If you're not being given the chance you're due, you need to ask for it. It's usually just a mistake; many young people (and a surprising number of not-so-young people) aren't used to handling cash.

They also tend to hand you the bills before the coins, which is just inexplicable.

Yes you are right. They are in favor of not giving the money. I am also against the use of cards. The reason is that banks make a deduction for every purchase made with a card and give money to the seller. This is a bad situation for the seller. The money must return to the market, but such a thing is not possible when shopping with a card. This is one of the reasons why inflation is increasing. Use cash, not card

I always round it, to exact change... and they usually keep the change, doesn't bother me

Those cents can accumulate to form dollars. Even the smallest money should not be underestimated

I think they should all be requested. If the person who gives the missing money becomes a customer, then he/she will not give the product. So they should be honest with the customer
