What is wrong with me? When someone bought me a food or a gift I tend to give them gift after they give me a gift?

Like when my coworker or a friend give me a gift or money as a gift I would buy them gift or a food depending on what they give me as a repayment of what they give me. I always want to repay everything someone who gives me a gift. Sometimes its a form of gratitude sometimes I just dont want to get always nice things from people because I feel like I always owe that person something so I always repay it I always reciprocate

And you're making them transactional, and like an expectation of when giving, you should receive.
