I bought my new guy friend a small package of Lindt chocolates and a card with crystals in it for his birthday, to be signed by all of us. I don’t have much money, but I was wondering, should I add a scented candle, or leave it as it is? I can’t afford to go shopping for more gifts. However, I have a masculine woodsy scented candle that I bought several months ago, that I could add. It’s just taking up space in my room.

He's your friend, I'm sure he will be thankful for your kindness, and love the chocolates! You can include the candle, so long as it's something you know HE actually likes. Some guys don't like candles, some people cannot stand the scent of pine / woodsy, if you think he would like it (you know him best) you can certainly include it!
If you have a bit of ribbon or plant twine, even butchers twine, you can tie it around the candle in a little bow and add a tiny box of matches (the good luck ones by LuckyDuck if you can find them) to add a bit of flare if you wish :)
Yeah you can add that. Either way he’s going to appreciate your gift
Why do you keep buying all of these gifts if you don’t have the money to afford it?
