A girlfriend I loved gave me a cast statue of Pepe le Pew and Penelope. It is painted, has some real gold details, and is mounted on a cut piece of quartz. It's about 5" high, almost 6" long, and heavy. It was expensive.
It was romantic, told me how small and vulnerable she felt in my arms, and how much she loved me. I still treasure it.

My ex knew that I loved boho aesthetic. She loved it too. She spent 4 hours making me a macrame dreamcatcher for my room. It was incredibly thoughtful and the effort she put into it was touching. It's scrapped now though 😂 Ya know how it is... ex and all.

My ex husband used to buy me flowers and chocs for birthday etc but was always so last minute whilst leaving work (worked in a supermarket) so price labels etc still on. Complete opposite of thoughtful and cute!

A few months ago, I think it was, I was at a gazebo bust stop waiting for my bus home and there were these two little girls (7 to 9 years old) running around the gazebo waiting for their own ride home from school, I guess. Right before they left, one of them pulled out this tiny plastic skateboard and gave it to me and said, "Have a nice day!".
