Yeah, but old electronic parts are now weird, My dad buys obscure used electronic parts online often, and fixes his antique electronics, neither is buying boating accessories weird. I honestly am at a loss how to answer this one. I cannot think of anything that would even qualify as weird. I know of a guy on YouTube “NileRed” I think his channel is called, he buys incredibly dangerous chemicals online. I think that would be weird, were it not for the educational videos he makes with those dangerous chemicals. My American grandmother lives in a beautiful rural area of North-Central Florida, and her neighbor buys worms & grubs online (at least I think thats what she said) to feed the chickens, b/c chickens were never supposed to eat corn, and they are healthier when the eat worms and grubs, and they produce better, healthier eggs. I think buying worms online is REALLY weird. But it’s not weird to her.
But to give you a genuine heartfelt answer, I guess the weirdest thing I ever bought online was a military surplus early 2010’s era walkie talkie, used by the US Army, Marines, and by Navy Seals in Iraq, and Afghanistan. My brother just recently became a ham radio operator, and I thought it was something really cool that he might like. Turns out I was right, because he LOVED it. He actually wants to get it reprogrammed to operate on Ham Radio frequencies, because he loves it that much!
Sorry it’s got a great answer, but it was a very difficult question to answer truthfully, and objectively.

The one I got my brother actually works. It’s a LOT newer, but not as cool as yours. You can see the radio on his back, and on the upper left side, you can see the mic plugged into the “NATO” connector. It even game with a General Electric microphone.
It also came with the fast charger. Although my brother’s is O/D green, and less fancy looking.
Well, it’s my brother's, but yes according to Kurt (my brother) it has Military encryption and satellite communication capabilities. He also wants to use it as his main radio b/c it’s an all metal radio, whereas his regular Ham Radios are all plastic! But he just wants to have an electrical engineer reprogram it to work on the Amateur Radio frequencies. He knows it definitely can be converted, he just needs to find the right engineer to do it. He says the factory can do it, but they will disable the encryption and the satellite capabilities. and he really wants to listen in to the "sat-bands" to see if he can hear anything “interesting” since they still actually use these radios in the US Military. Here is a better look at it. (Hopefully this image shows up, since the charger picture did not!)
OMG yes, it really is! I was extremely lucky, and very privileged to be able to get it. It’s not a cheap Chinese knockoff (They literally bought tens of thousands of brand new, unused encrypted US military radios from the Taliban that we left in Afghanistan, during the US pull-out! So of course they have already copied them!) But I actually bought a real one from a friend of my mom who is ex-military, and has a contract to recycle military equipment, including classified equipment. Since he knows that my brother would never transmit on it, or use it for anything malicious, and he will have it reprogrammed before he uses it, so I was able to get a real one for him. I’m so happy I could get it for him, because I know how much he wanted one.
I just bought my caregiver a mini refrigerator on line. It's so cute! It's made by Frigidaire too.
It's turquoise/aqua blue colored.
It holds 2 six packs of canned drink's to give you an idea of how big the inside is.
What is so cool is that she collects miniature things, so I thought it was the perfect thank you gift for her.
When she opened the present and saw it, she really liked it !🙂

Authentic used concert T-shirt from Bruce Springsteen 1985 Born in USA Tour for friend #1 fan. Very expensive cuz of certificate of authenticity from reputable house.
Agreed. It was so hard to find that, fuses for a Sears dryer and the prices for GFCI circuit breaker for a original Murray housing made me faint!

I buy food that I can't find at the store, like certain brands I know they make but can't find at Walmart. I don't know, is a bed in a box or wooden bed frame weird?
A replica of the bottle from I Dream of Jeannie.
Sweeet!
Healthy "coral" to soak in water and make water better.
I stopped that.
Frankly, I don't think I've ordered anything weird so far, but the weirdest of all of them might be a milk pump or pasties.
Perhaps a cookbook from 1938.
It was one that my grandmother had when she was raising her family. It was produced by the Watkins spice company. I actually used many of the recipes book. My mom saw it and asked for it so, of course, I gave it to her. Then I found another copy of the book on eBay and now my second-most favorite cookbook is back on my shelf.
