What is the weirdest item you bought?

When I was a boy, I got this silly toy. I forgot what it was called. It was like a squishy ball with a plastic thing around it you could stand on and hop around. It was very silly although fun.

I actually really enjoyed that Pogo Ball even though I probably looked like a complete dork standing on it and trying to hop with it all the time. I ended up transitioning to skateboarding at the age of 7 which might have offered a similar appeal in some respects. :-D

From adulthood, I've never been much of a shopper though. I think I might instinctively be one since I used to collect all sorts of knick-knacks, but I got jobs that required me to travel all the time living in company-rented hotel rooms while living out of suitcases. So I stopped buying and collecting such weird things.
