When you go shopping, what do you do with the cart after unloading the shopping cart?

I work as a cart pusher at a store. One day, a customer went out of his way to help me by making four trips from the parking lot to the lobby with carts. I was very grateful for his help

I leave the cart where my vehicle is

I purposely leave the cart a few inches away from the corral opening. I figure that's close enough

I (or my kid) return the cart to the corral

I return the cart to the corral but make it harder on the cart pusher by laying the cart ontop of other carts

I always return my shopping cart to the lobby. I know how hard cart pushers work, and I think returning the cart is the right thing to do

At Aldi, I take it back to the stack and get my quarter back, Jack. At other stores, if they have a corral, I take it there and usually push it into the cart in front of mine to make more room. If I'm parked closer to the lobby, I'll take it there, instead and do the same.
If cart collectors are like me, they'd PREFER you push the carts into the corral so they'd have something to do. I don't like standing/sitting around with my thumbs up my ass!! If I'm there to work, I wanna work. Otherwise, the job is boring and I'll hate it.

I return it to either the front or one of the cart locations in the lot.
