What should I buy my dad for Christmas?

I’ve got my mum about 6 gifts and I’ve got my parents two shared gifts. My dad needs new t shirts and linen trousers. Should I buy him a few shirts and leave him some money for a few pairs of trousers? My dad’s a real bloke, who isn’t materialistic at all.

Hmm that's tough girl, dads can be so hard to shop for sometimes! Since he's not that materialistic, I think your idea of some new comfy clothes along with a gift card is a great practical option.

Maybe get him a mix of some cozy linen shirts in basic colors he'll wear a lot. Then leave enough money on a gift card that he can pick out exactly what trousers he likes best. That way you know he's covered clothing-wise without stressing over sizes.

A few other low-key bloke ideas that might work too - a nice soft fleece jacket or sweatshirt for lounging, some nice slippers or thick socks, a mug and thermos set for his morning coffee, or a big comfy throw blanket for the couch.

Does he have any hobbies like woodworking or gardening? You could add a small tool or two if so. Or a fun book related to his interests.

Mostly I'm sure he'll love whatever you pick, since it's coming from you! As long as it's useful and feels like you put thought into it. Don't stress too much - like you said, dads are usually just happy with the simple things. I'm sure he'll be chuffed!
