If you lose your credit card, can you still make payments towards your card until you receive your new card?

I use BOA. I have set up a payment roster. You should freeze your card but still make the payment through your roster.

Yes of course, and your Apple Pay and PayPal and whatever else you have it connected to still works because those are encrypted keys and have no connection to the physical card or number.

Just to be clear, I didn't mean payment as in new purchases. I meant payments as in paying down the balance on the card.

I did. How ever the get a new card ASAP isn't likely to happen with the lingering effects of the Canada Post Strike.
