Is there any way to dispute a credit card from charging you interest because you didn’t know or check that you went pass the due date?

Nope. It was your fault that you didn't make your payment on time. They send you a bill/statement each month showing you what the payment is and the due date. If you don't get paper statements and just online, it is still your fault. Unless the dog ate your bill, the internet was down all month, or your phone got accidentally got flushed down the toilet, you are stuck. I mean how much of an interest charge could there be?

I had automatic payments set up but forgot the deadline like 4 months ago so they charged a lot

That's why companies like these "no interest if paid off within 6 months" deals. They are counting some people will miss their payment dates and then they collect. I guess you learned a lesson on this. And you aren't the only one who has flubbed. I've done it too, which is why I pay particular attention to the due date, even writing each one on my calendar.

It’s totally my fault but the email could have mentioned my due date was coming up or over with each payment or showed I was being charged in my checking account. Instead, they just add more interest to your account via “their” website…

Anyways, I feel foolish and stupid. You don’t think I can dispute it though? I freaked out and paid it in fool a while ago after getting off the phone with them. Won’t they take that into consideration because it was an honest mistake?

NO! Look at the terms you signed when you accepted the credit agreement. I'm betting there's no escape clause because you were lazy or forgot to check your due date. You fucked up. They have a right to charge you interest and late fees. Do it again and they have the right to raise the interest rate they charge you. You become a higher risk.

Call and ask. If you have a long record of paying everything on time, I have heard of them canceling charges. It's unlikely, but it won't hurt to try

Yeah, I just got off the phone with the 3rd person.. grey may be able to take the interest off. I had money to pay everything in full in the beginning, I just didn’t realize time flew bye so fast

I'm late on bills all the time. I'm the same way. Time passes to fast that I don't even realize how long it's been since I paid bills. I do it so much I don't even bother asking to take it off.

I could set up automatic payments, and maybe I should. But then I'm afraid I'd forget to transfer money to my checking account to cover it. I also like being able to take a glance at my bill each month see if something looks wrong.

Another thing they do when you are late is charge you interest for two months. That's because you carry a balance.

For example if your February bill is $100
You are late, so you have a penalty, plus interest.
Let's say the late fee is $20 and the interest is $1
You paid the $100 but it was late.
The $21 late fee and interest carries over into March.

You carried over a balance into March. Any time you carry a balance you will pay interest. So even if you paid March on time, you would still pay interest on March because you carried a balance.

So you will always pay two months interest when you are late. The only way to get rid of the interest is to pay the full balance on time two months in a row.

Nope, you have to manually check it, I never did auto hence I paid £6 interest on a £20 withdrawal but zero on the other thousand plus I collectively borrowed
