It's a toss-up. I only use Amazon when ordering something from specific ethical retailers that have a storefront there. Amazon allows extremely unethical companies to have storefronts and sell products on the site (fast fashion, to name one example). Amazon also does not always have the best prices or products. I think there was a time when Amazon was the best value to order something, but that is no longer the case.
I try to use eBay, as retro as that sounds. Ebay supports small businesses, has a great customer protection policy, has a 'buy it now' option on just about everything, and recycles products that might otherwise end up in the landfill. It's miles above Amazon as far as ethical practices go.
I also like Etsy for similar reasons, but I don't use it as often because it's more of a gift and specialty item store.
Amazon and El Corte Inglés for most general stuff.
Clothing which is most of my online shopping I do in many different shops like Zalando, meshki, oh Polly, jaded London, zara, Calzedonia...
It's like this for shopping
Most by family? Amazon
Most by me? Temu
From seller perspective:
Me selling on eBay, Poshmark, FB Marketplace.
In order of most use: Amazon, eBay, individual vendor sites like Home Depot.
Have no desire to try Temu or AliExpress.
Thanks for MHO

AliExpress, I buy particular things in bulk and resell it locally and make a small profit on each transaction. I get it from the supplier in China, upsell here in Canada, take my profit to buy more products, upcharge just a bit more, repeating the process until my realized gains are profitable enough to take a cut for income.

Used to be ebay before it became impersonal. Amazon allows scammers in, you have to get tough with them to make them stand by that they were the one who put you into a scam position in the first place, to cover the issue. (Too many times) Now I don't really buy that much aside motorcycle or home maintenance and price around. I'm good with clothes and randoms. I am planning to use prepaid cards for online purchases too. After scammers used paypal to set up several small monthly charges out of single purchases. Always check your statements people.
99% of things I buy offline. And hell would freeze over for me using a Chinese store.
Amazon, Sephora, online clothing retailers since those are usually the places I don’t like visiting.
But I grocery shop since that’s actually enjoyable.
Lazarda and Shopee here in Thailand..
Lazarda is Ali basically.
I order most online for Clothing, so my answer is other. It can be from various store brands.
Amazon and eBay, purely personal would probably put Amazon over the line
I don't use any of these because I use Trendyol because of the high taxes it brings to Turkey.
Amazon, Discogs, Ebay, and Redbubble.
Definitely Amazon. Free shipping with Amazon Prime
Not Temu, that's for sure. I'll try the smaller independents first, only work my way up if I have to.
And more of my time is spent fixing the problems of the sellers, after they screw up things.
Have used Aliexpress and Etsy a couple of times but otherwise I order from elsewhere.
I try to buy in a store as much as possible. The few things I buy online I get from Amazon.
99% of my online shopping is at Amazon. If I can't find what I'm looking for locally, I always find it at Amazon
Amazon mostly or directly from certain stores for clothing and some more specific items
MLB. com or IHG. com though recently it seems like I am going to a hotel more often than a baseball game.
