I have enough money to buy a nice tv but I have no idea about them and my boyfriend doesn't either. How to chose without getting taken advantage of?

I want to buy a nice tv and I went to 2 stores and I sort of felt like the guys serving me were talking whatever they wanted to sell and not what was the best for my budget? How would I go finding out what's best to buy?

Save your money for a while and download the free app and you'll get notifications and there'll be people in there giving away TVs go pick it up see if you like it and then get the new version of it if you do..

Here's the thing about TVs is like those salesmen they really know nothing about it except they're making a commission you're going to pay $6. To $,700 depending on the TV. And in 2 months 3 months they come out with another version of it and so your TV is only worth $200 so I know it's nice to have one I mean I have a brand new Vizio I think I paid $700 for and I haven't watched TV in 5 years if you lived in Reno I would give you a 56 or whatever it is inch TV I have like five TVs I've watched none of them but yeah save your money and explore a little bit because you can go to a thrift store even there's nothing wrong with used TVs they're going to work just as good as the new one and they're not going to be as obsolete or they'll be just as obsolete as a brand new one because they come out with new TVs all the time and I would never pay six or $700 again for TV

HD is good enough so if you have space put an "older" hd one, since it is not new technology , you can get a big area, diagonal, thin flat screen.

Maybe you can look at the reviews of the TVs on the Internet. Or you can ask your other friends and acquaintances if one of them can help you, or at least knows someone who knows about it.

We bought a 55" for our spare room for $350 that is just as good as our $2,000 one in our lounge room. Shop around, you don't have to spend that much.
