I live here in California, and I am in favor of this. I am tired of having mentally ill criminals as leaders. But - I suspect the Danes are smart enough to not do it.

They laughed when the US wanted to buy louisianna off of emperor Napoleon so what is wrong with buying Greenland off the king of Denmark. You know Greenland and Canada are the only countries ruled by an unelected head of state

Have you asked the people. Perhaps like many countries they'd like to overthrow their European overlords. Canada and Greenland are the only countries in the Americas not to have a revolution (if you don't count the Caribbean islands etc)

The people are apparently against it as well. All the historical crap doesn't mean a thing to them. I think they would just like to be left alone in peace and not have the problems of the US inflicted on them. I don't blame them.

Oh wait, I thought you were talking about Washington DC. The state of Washington would never be for sale. It's really beautiful. Washington, DC on the other hand could easily be sold. If they were stupid enough to pay for it. I somehow think we would need to pay them to take that.
