I think the environmentalist in me sees value in used but at the same time I am also not that bothered by fashion and like keeping the stuff I have had for as long as they are wearable. I think I get somewhat sentimental about certain clothes as well so won't replace if I can repair.

I usually buy new. But as a teen and young adult, me and some friends would go thrift shopping just for fun. We'd find like one or two pairs of nice jeans.

And we would always drop off clothes that we didn't wear anymore.
