so they both got into the same nursing courses that very few get accepted into. they are both early 20's and both have worked very hard on their schooling to get to this point. I want to give them something very special that they'll have all their lives and will remember me by once im no longer around. which hopefully will be a long time yet but I can't think of anything that could come from an uncle that isn't weird or creepy and would be something they cherish for many years. im willing to spend a decent amount of money on these two gifts. maybe like 1500.00 for both presents would be about my max.. can you recommend a great gift for these two young ladies who will be moving away from home for the first time, they will be going into the nursing field.. need suggestions because I can't think of anything really. thanks for the help

If they wear jewelry you could get a vintage antique jewlery box. From an auction or second hand. Not a newly made imitation, that’s not the same thing. It’s not very useful for their new home maybe, but it’s something special that someone would keep around forever and maybe even pass down to their kids and have it become an heirloom.
Or you could do some special necklace or other piece of jewelry, but then it can’t just be your average necklace or it will just blend in in the collection. Also, if you go for jewelry, make sure you pay attention to their style and if they’re a gold or silver girl (do they wear gold or silver jewelry, this is important most women have a preference).
If you want something for their home, then maybe something like a personalized cutting/cheese board. There are more practical and fun things but if you want it to be something that’s kept around forever and have them think of you after you pass it can’t be something practical or fun. It needs to be unique and sentimental. Or something really fancy that lasts a lifetime. Like for example a fancy set of kitchen knives.
I like the jewelry box idea!! thanks for your response and merry Christmas to ya

A pair of Bluetooth speakers for their new home, apartment, or dorm room would be perfect!
