I have no idea what women likes, please tell me the standard/average/usual gifts. doesn't matter if its from birthdays, celebrations, reunions, etc.. Its simply to have an idea what to give my family what they would like.

A popular item I think would be a journal with specialty pens for writing in. Art or bird encyclopedias are also nice but can get expensive.
