What simple, thoughtful gifts can I give my mum for future birthdays?

Mum has plenty of stuff now and she’s requested that from next year, I start and continue giving simpler gifts. What are those? Things like wine, chocolates and/or flowers?

Well the easy thing to do is to exchange gift lists. Did this with my sister and it has worked very well.

Otherwise consumerables or experiences. It could be MAD. A mother and daughter moment that you would both enjoy doing together. Like getting spasticated on some fine wine. Or a boat trip. Or Wet n Wild. Or reliving something in your childhood you did with your mum.

I could never please my mom no matter what I gave to her for her birthday. She always complained about it.
