I've always saved knowing that some horrible shit would happen eventually. It did about 5 months ago. I've mostly lost the ability to walk, I can barely operate my car, etc, life sucks when one has a lack of mobility thinking about how they could run half a year ago. Hospitals don't care, doctors don't give a shit, and now that nest egg is starting to dwindle despite being approved for Medicaid since I'm unable to work. It really just makes me want to blow what I have left like fuck it, I can have anything delivered to my home.
Have you applied for social security? SSDI?
Good luck with you ๐
I save. I try and reuse and recycle as much as possible
I would save when I can but I almost always have somewhere for my money to go when I get it. I don't spend it recklessly though, so... neither?
I mean a little reckless๐ค๐พ
I definitely can make some purchases I probably don't need, but I am more of a saver.

I have a $35,000 credit limit because I always pay on time and never go on debt. I pay for sushi buffets by eating rice and bitter vegetables the other 29 days of the month.
How much is a sushi buffet in your neck of the woods?
@DryGermanGuy $40 per person before taxes and tips. I pay for the entire family when I go.
That's not too bad. My standard menu (sushi, tempura, gyoza) costs ~29โฌ.
I put half in a coffee can and bury it in the backyard. The other half i take to the track and put it all on the horse that does it's business right before the start of the 3rd race.
I do enjoy the mall 🛒
Even though I do believe in saving
Both.
I am reckless as hell.
I make sure to save some every month.
I've never been reckless with money
