Buying a switchblade in New York City from a guy off the street for a souvenir and he became really suspicious and went into a store and bought a Clark bar that was the size of a switchblade and heavy. Then he came out of the store and said here put that away don’t let anybody see it. He made me really nervous so I trusted him and I gave him the cash. It wasn’t a lot but then when I opened it, it was a candy bar never again. I tried to look for him, but he was long gone He probably ran when he got out of my sight
I bought a book on critical positive psychology for over $300 which I earned with my own money and then I realized the word critical means the book is criticizing positive psychology, not endorsing it. When I first left my 2020 job, I was given a large bonus pay out for employees laid off in Ontario Canada due to the pandemic, and I spent my $8000 on books instead of video game machinery which I think might have been a mistake.
This piece of shit. It was a lemon, straight from the factory. Biggest waste of money, ever.
In the early days of AI, I bought a "galaxy projector.” It turned out the advertising for it was all AI-generated. Ever since then, I don't believe anything I see advertised.
A Kaboom box 😆 (i didn't name it). Back when i was still in school i worked at a fast food joint and we were allowed to play music while we cleaned after we closed. One day when i was out i bought a JVC Kaboom box (aptly named because it was a tube shape with subwoofers on the end to give it deeper base). I soent like 300 bucks on it j i st so we'd have quality music while cleaning. But then i got fired like a week later. Oops!😆
a... triple-stuffed, cheese pizza... large AF too
I don't even like cheese that much, I just said "yeah" to the special... lmao
X-ray glasses. The ad in the comic book made it seem like they could see though clothing, but sadly it was all a scam.
Remington 380. Waste of $250
