Was this Facebook Marketplace buyer being rude or just negotiating?

I have a micheal meyers mask i was selling on Facebook marketplace. I paid $200 for it. I was asking $130. Some lady messaged me and asked if I could go down to $100. I said that i want to at least get $120 for it. Her response was. Give it a day, or two and let me know.

I think, Just negotiating, …🤣…. and giving you a little bit of shit while she’s at it.

Translation: You’d be lucky to get 100$ for it, and silly to turn down my offer, for the hope of getting $20 more—then, ok buddy, suit yourself, give it a couple days to realize that your decision was silly, and get back to me, cause I predict there’s gonna be nobody else interested in this item.

I don't think she was being rude. She was just negotiating and leaving the decision with you.

Basically, she is saying she will wait and see if you change your mind about the $120. That's pretty normal on Facebook Marketplace.

If you don't want to go below $120, just keep your price and wait for another buyer. 😊

Buyers lower their prices sometimes if they get no interests. She's hoping you might change your mind
