I work at a supermarket serving customers at checkout. I served a nice blonde girl in gym clothes. And she seemed abit flirty. She had an open smile and a good look in her eye. And also good extended eye contact while still smiling, still looking at me when most people usually don't. I kinda did the same back. I'm not good at describing things sorry, but to me it felt flirty and like she kinda liked me. Was she flirting? May have she liked me?

Probably not. As someone who’s worked in retail, a grocers job resonates with me because I know how awful customers can be and that can really ruin someone’s day. I always make it a point to greet both the person ringing up my groceries and the person bagging them. I smile a lot, make/maintain direct eye contact because it’s rude otherwise to stare at other parts of their face, I only do that if someone is cross-eyed. I make light conversation, asking about their day and if they have plans for when they clock out. I’ll wish them a good day and fast shift once I leave.

I hear ya lady - I'm always disappointed that whenever I worked retail never ever got the opportunity or eavesdropping gossip to ever hear a story role reversal where "hey you know that single guy, who works here, a woman was trying to pick him up, so I blurted out to him "hey bro your girlfriend keeps texting ya by the looks of your lock screen" just to see the expression change on the random super hot female - that would've been one of hilarious 'retail stories' if only, if only 🤣♀️🤣♀️
