Jeg elkser Norge!
Hehe I lived in Oslo for awhile...
The whole super equal sexes sounds really great but the more time I spent there I started realizing it's not. It's more of a reversal of the sexes. The women are starting to act and dress more like men and the men are starting to act and dress more like women.
The women are beautiful but they usually wear dark or neutral colored clothing, usually black jeans, and except a pair of skinny jeans everything they wear is baggy. Like a big no shape shirt and skinny jeans and big thick black boots two sweaters, a big scarf and a big jacket. I know it's cold there, but come on! And they are usually the ones to go up to boys not the other way around.
And the guys are obsessed with their bodies, gym nonstop, fake tan, shaved chest(sometimes legs too) perfect hair, and they take longer to get ready than I do. They almost don't really make the first move and in relationships they are unsure.
It's really weird!
As friends though I love Norwegians, once you have a Norwegian friend you have them forever! I know if I moved back tomorrow(I wish I could!) that I could immediately jump back into my old life have all my same friends and it'd be the same. Which for someone who moves a lot is amazing

Any people I've met from Norway have always been nice and friendly =)
Question for ya : what's your take on sweedish and finish people, like is it a pretty similar culture to Norwegian? Like I'm from Ireland, but the Irish, Scotish, welsh and English are all pretty similar when it comes down to it...
On a side note, have you ever noticed that on a one euro coin, scandinavia kinda looks like the d*** and balls of Europe ? link
Nothing bad comes to mind. I don't know much about your country. I never seen Norway on the news doing anything bad. All in all I would say that you have a quiet, peaceful country that treat the rest of the world with respect.

I live near Disney World. They have a little miniature Norway out at Epcot Center. It's a lot better than the real one and I can go there whenever I want. They have people from Norway who work there, and I've noticed that all of them pick their noses. I asked one of em if he'd mind picking my nose too, and he said he'd do it for five bucks. You guys are friendly.
I think Norway people are perhaps more calm and shy. Some may call them "cold" but I just think their culture is a bit more reserved much like other Scandinavian countries
lol @ all those Americans bashing Canada when we don't even care enough about America to notice them unless they commit war crimes. Probably just jealous because of our better standardy of living and polite manners.I know about Norse mythology...
I've heard domestic abuse is really high in Norway
don't know if that's true though?gonna be honest, sometimes I forget that country exists, its like canada, no one hates it, but no one really loves it either, its just kind of...there, no offense.
i have never met anyone from norway, even if I do, I doubt they will behave the exact same way as the next norwegian person
