What do you think of Denmark?

Question

So I was just curious what people think of Denmark or if they have any prejudice? 🇩🇰 Also no Swedes are allowed to answer!  Let me know what you think or what you heard. Have you visited maybe?

Are you Danish. I only visited Copenhagen very briefly when I missed a connecting flight. This was back in May 2013, maybe the place has changed and I know you can't really know a place from only being there a few hours. But I will say, I didn't see too many of these friendly and happy Danes that are alleged to exist. I've also never seen so many bicycles and Muslim women in Abaya in one place (not even in Turkey). So many Muslims and Peruvian flute bands. I didn't feel like I was in Denmark. No Ekkler. Maybe it's true that Solvang I'd more Danish than Denmark. I expected the city to be older and more colorful, but the only area that was worth visiting was Nyhavn. And so much grafitee in the outskirts.

I had anticipated missing my flight and was gonna take a taxi to Nyhavn, but the lady at the airport convinced us to take the train. I hadn't studied that area and didn't have a map or GPS, and I also had no idea the colorful street was called "Nyhavn", let alone that it's not pronounced how its spelled, so we had no idea where to go, and you guys were so rude when we tried to ask for directions. Ironically, only the brown people and tourists were helpful and nice.

I saw a YouTuber who also said you guys are rude to tourists because you're never gonna see us again, so you have no incentive in being nice to us.

Anyways, we wasted 2 hours trying to find Nyhavn, despite it being so close and easy to get to. We didn't have time to go all the way to the fort and I only realized afterwards, how close we were to the castle.

And I don't even want to get started on the airport staff and SAS or we'll be here forever. Only thing I will applaud is there was no customs and airport security was practically non-existent. And everyone speaks English. But if I ever get stuck on a layover again, I will never let anyone talk me into taking the train to save money.

But yeah in general, y'all are rude and self-centered. I don't know this "happiest people on earth" bullshit comes from.

Though to be fair, capital cities usually aren't the best representation of the country as a whole. But I don't know why US Liberals are so infatuated with countries like Sweden and Denmark.

That being said, there are some interesting towns and islands I wouldn't mind visiting (especially Bornholm), but Denmark isn't a place I'd plan a special trip around. I don't care much for Scandinavia, except Norway.

And for the record, I'm not a Swede.

They gave the world Legos, which is wonderful; they insist on pluralizing them incorrectly, which is not. They're consistently ranked in the happiest countries in the world, which is good; their antidepressant consumption rate surpasses the US, which is outright terrifying.

It's another one of those interesting places I've never gotten a chance to visit.

I have heard and read great things about Denmark.
First is, it's always in the Top 10 countries of the World's Happiest Countries.
Being a Scandinavian nation, it's filled with breathtaking nature as I've seen across the media.
I personally love it's national football team. Eriksen, Schmeichel, Kjær to name a few.
Lastly and quite importantly, Danish ladies are gorgeous (would use some other word, otherwise lol)🔥

I met a Dane girl who was an exchange student when I was in high school last year. She was friendly and a great person to talk with. She thought we were more conservative sexually in the USA then in your country. I'm not sure where the differences are because we did not have time to finish that talk.

It's nice. I've been to Copenhagen and Skagen. They're nice places with nice people. In Copenhagen, definitely go on the hop on, hop off tour buses. Also try the canal tour. Very interesting. In Skagen, there is a shop that makes what we call "rock" in the UK, but they chop it up into smaller pieces rather than selling it in big sticks. You can see them making it, and they even let you try some.

A few years ago, I visited Denmark, a small town on the northern tip call Skagen, and the capital Copenhagen. I found the people to be friendly, and the land very flat.

I visited a number of time I found it to be beautiful with lovely friendly people. If not kinda of expensive, but so are Finland Norway Iceland and Sweden where I've also been
