What should I get for my ex best friend's birthday?

I started avoiding one of my friends because they continued to hide something behind my back, and it spiraled into us both avoiding each other and completely stop talking. This has been going on for a few months already, and now her birthday is this weekend. I'm not missing much by not talking to her anymore or not being her friend. It also helps that she's not exactly the most likable person in school. Since my other friends already don't care for her, I don't have anyone pushing me to discuss my problem with her. By getting her something, I don't want her to think that I really miss her. I want to get her a gift to show that I'm trying to be mature in this situation (she recently deleted me as a sister on Facebook) and that I'm simply a good person for caring about her birthday. She's one of those people that I always couldn't stand in certain ways, and eventually I let that distance our friendship entirely. Is getting her a gift at all necessary? Or would that just set myself up for a repaired friendship that I don't look forward to?

If you don't like her and don't care about her really then why get her a gift at all? That doesn't show maturity, it just shows fakeness. To me, that seems fake and two-faced (not saying that you are, just that's what getting her a gift seems to me). Just don't worry about it, if you don't even talk anymore then what's the point?
