When I was in elementary school we used to learn a lot about astronomy. I absolutely loved it, it was my favorite thing to learn, that's when I decided to become an astronomer when I grow up. I've always thought that space was so beautiful and I still do. ✨

Do you have a telescope with an aperture of 8" inch or larger? I have one and I have already seen most of the pictures here in real life.
Too bad almost all of them are colored by computer and actually black-and-white

@FL1ppY Unfortunately I don't have a telescope. Even though I love astronomy as a hobby, I don't use it as a hobby since I don't have a telescope.

Depends on what you want to see.. bigger telescopes can catch more light and have a higher magnitude than smaller ones, but are more expensive. Reflector telescopes are good for viewing deep sky objects and refractor telescopes are better for stars and planets. Do note that all you can see is 100% not what you see on pictures. As an example, here are the orion nebula, the sombrero galaxy and saturn through a large amateur telescope of 8" inch or larger. Two of them are in the pictures of the post.

Too bad all pictures except for the earth are colored by computer. In space you can only see black and white. There is not enough light
