Whenever, I hear of Jayne Mansfield, I think of "Jayne Moosefield" (a robotic replica of the movie star on the "The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show"

The reason why Marilyn Monroe was so famous (and still is) is because of her size. She represents the idea that you don't have to be super skinny to be beautiful.

Monroe had a very so-so face. I think the reason Marilyn is famous is because she died relatively young! She also married a famous ballplayer (DiMaggio) and messed around with the Kennedy brothers. She was more or less the Kim K. of her day.

If she had lived to 70 years old, we probably wouldn't have heard as much about her.

On the other hand, Mansfield died young... yeah, I just don't get it.
