Time is not something real but a vector to evaluate the development of many things. To make time travel a reality you must know the full information previously and change everything Concurrently towards the right direction.

Backwards time travel is impossible but forward time travel is very minimal and wouldn't be more than a few tenths of a second.
Keep in mind this is a different kind of time travel. Visually traveling through memory. No physical speed or space time continuum.
Memory is remembering the past by occurring with thought arising in the present.

Because time isn't really a thing and everything is actually happening at once. Like a bunch of pictures that show a flower growing and wilting and dying, it's all happening at once. You're just in a different frame.
This is actually quite simple. Any change in the past would be shown in the future. The question is though if a ripple in time happens, does it create a new timeline or does it just continue on. There's a clear example of the mandela effect.

If we could find a way to scan and record memories, this alternate version might be.
@Jakeenzo There are no laws of physics that prevent it. But the fact it's impossible is proven by virtue that if ever time-travel were to be mastered, whether it's happened in the past, present or future, then it would already exist across all time and "always" would have. And I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Given the proven total inability for human-nature to handle any such thing with the correct protocol/respect/care, if there were already time-travellers among us the whole world would have been irreparably messed-up by now.
Backwards time-travel: possibly
Forwards time-travel: No, but it's not to the extent that we currently think
I hope that one day time travel will be possible.
