Im a 4ft9 19 year old and I feel insecure about my height?

even when guys tell me they like short girls, my height makes me feel like i'm a kid, if i had the chance of having one wish come true it would be to become taller! i get compliments on my looks and body shape, but when it comes to my height I always get "omg you're really short!", and it makes me feel like a freak! do guys really mean it when they say they like short girls or are they just doing it to make me feel better?

Im a guy and i like short girls, and i will always like short girls more than taller girls. This is simple basic psychology, men like to always feel masculine. It is in our DNA to be the "MAN". Nothing says masculine than being taller than the girl you are with. This is why most men prefer short women both naturally and subconsciously. When men say they like short girls they mean it, tall men date tall women, also most tall women have a problem finding a man because of their height. So the very thing you find to make you feel upset is a blessing. You are what "men" like to call fun size, lol it's a sexual reference for most as to you are easier to lift carry and flip around in all kind of ways. Thus the meaning of "FUN size", being short is not a bad thing for 'Women" but almost every girl in the world wants a tall guy because of what i mentioned before it naturally serves the balance of feeling masculine.

While it's very sexy when a girl is all model-like and long-legged, height is usually not that important to guys.
Insecurity, not height, is what makes a girl unattractive. For example, I have a tall friend who loves her height and that makes her almost mesmerizing - her presence and elegance are out of this world. However, another tall girl I know hates her height and behaves like she wants to hide it and ends up looking all awkward and not attractive at all. A short coworker of mine is so insecure about being short and behaves all pushy and loud to stop feeling small and unnoticeable and it makes her ugly. Another short girl I know rocks the whole cute look and comes off as adorable and attractive. I think if you love your height - whatever it is - it will add to, and not diminish, your attractiveness.

Guys like what they like. Not all like short girls not all like tall girls. Some DO like short girls, and others like tall girls. Some guys like guys. It's all preference.Some girls would kill to be your height, some girls would hate to be your height You should not spend your time worrying about what guys like and like yourself. If you don't like yourself no one else will. Spend your time talking to people about what you don't like about yourself and that's all people will focus on. Your height and your insecurity. Instead of getting to know a confident you. Love your height. If not at least embrace it.

It’s cute only if you’re fit
Once you become chubby or fat it looks extra worse than if you were taller because you’ll resemble a ball faster.

My advice to very short girls: eat healthy forever and stay thin or fit but never allow yourself to get chubby or fat because you’re gonna look funny and very!! unattractive.

If you're a girl being short is a good thing, short girls are the female equivalent to guys over 6ft tall. Accept your gift and don't complain, people will make short jokes but they wouldn't joke about something that's negative (people wouldn't be like "omg you're really fat!" unless they didn't like you). There are a lot of girls who wish they could have your height.

P.S. Never heard a guy refuse to date a girl cause she was too short, as long as you're developed enough to look your age you've got nothing to worry about.

Lol, that's how people joke, as I said before if you're a girl being short isn't a bad thing so people usually don't mind joking about it cause they don't think you'll take offense to it.

It's like making height jokes to a guy who's 6'3 like saying "hey how's the weather up there?" despite that joke not being funny people still say it because being tall's a good thing when you're a guy, just like being short's a good thing when you're a girl. Take it as a compliment, I'm sure if these people knew you didn't like it they wouldn't say it.
