Do guys like straightforward girls?

So basically yesterday, I told this guy that he has a really nice @$$. We haven't seen each other since 6th grade, but have known each other since kindergarten and now go to different schools (going into our senior year of high school) but I see him often now because he is my brothers new baseball camp coach. I would always make awkward eye contact with him and would always catch him glancing at me but nothing more, but yesterday I finally got my chance to talk to him and literally told him that, and basically walked off, being nonchalant about the whole thing. I can tell that he is a bit shy when it comes to girls, because he isn't the prettiest of all colors, but I like him so it really doesn't matter, but anyways do guys like straightforward girls?

It all depends on the guy. Im a shy guy so I like a girl who is straight forward its nice that they tell me what they what and what they want. Guys can be dumb too because a girl who is too straight forward may make us think a girls has been around the block a few times which shouldn't really matter but it can be a bit intimated especially if he is shy. But to answer your questions of course they do!!

I don't think it's possible for girls to be as straightforward as guys would ideally like them to be, but yes the straighter the better.

It really depends on the guy whether he thought it was strange or attractive, and without any description of the guy it's sort of up in the air. I'd just advise to go whichever way you're most comfortable with as that'll show him the kind of person you really are, straightforward or not.

There's nothing wrong with being straightforward though, it's better than the alternative where nothing moves forward.

Yes direct communication is good always but when it comes to dating. I sometimes prefer a softer approach. I just want to get a good idea of who you are and that we have the same goals etc.

so i guess directness is good if i know you. otherwise i will be hesitant and nervous about it.

I don't think there is such a thing as being too straightforward. He probably just wasn't expecting it.

Yes. Communication causes about 90% of problems in relationships from my experience, so I love a girl who tells it like it is.

you did ok but you should tell him your feelings about him too, guys need more validation, he might just think your being playful (joking around) and that you only like his butt
