Why do people listen to disgusting rap music?

Don't get me wrong, there is some GREAT rap music. But some of it is just DISGUSTING. This girl I like send me this song and the lyrics are:

I don't quite understand it either, but I gues to each their own, right? I mean, while we judge their choice music, they judge ours.
Now, do I think that some forms of music are better than others? Yes. But music is a form of creative expression and, as long as the artist isn't harming anyone in the process, they should be able to express themselves in their own way and share it with like-minded people (no matter how baffling their form of expression may be).

I get what you mean. They sex sells lol It isn't just rap though like "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails , "Drunk In Love" by Beyonce "I Touch Myself " by the Divinyls "Like a Prayer" by Maddona ; All are top 40 hits.
Before you say none of those songs are as graphic, it's essentially the same thing without innuendo lol However most music these days in the past 20 years has been explicitly sexual.

I'm a huge music freak, so I enjoy and respect all genres of music EXCEPT rap. I just despise rap. In fact, I don't find any 'music' in rap at all. Always sounds like angry guys venting out their frustration using the worst possible expletives.
No offense to those who like rap, but I wouldn't listen to that unless my life depended on it. RAP = CRAP

Well, radio music is crap... unfortunately that's nothing new. And rap took a pretty ugly turn with all of the gangster rap of the nineties, which took the mainstream far from the roots.
