Why do so many Latinas and Asian girls worship white men?

Question

I ask because I heard from my Hispanic friend that his mom raised her daughters to only date white. And I have met Latinas who won't give a Latino guy a chance no matter how educated he is. And when I watch soap operas all they show is white actors and never the indigenous and black populations which is majority. And why is it popular in India to bleach your skin. And how the hell did white supremacy spread so wide? And why do people act like color doesn't matter when it's everything.

Latinas typically consider themselves Spanish and don't associate with the indigenous although we're Mestizo (half native/half white (spanish) and some black, white, and native. But latinos come in all shades and colors, like America. There's white, asian, black, native american, and biracial/multi-racial. B/c latinos see themselves as Spanish, they see themselves as being European and don't want to associate or think of themselves as being racially other. So latinos who are mostly white or pass, are displayed on TV b/c Latinos see themselves as being white/Spanish so it's not a problem. We come in different shades but it's like one shade is more whiter than the other shade. If you're light skin, tan, or lightly brown, you see yourself as white. If you're darker, you see yourself as Spanish too. Dominicans don't like to call themselves black, they say they're Spanish. Even if they have kinky hair, b/c that's not how society teaches us to see ourselves. We use bleach to get a glowy, light skin tone b/c we are Spanish. Not every latino feels this way. There's still racism and discrimination all over Central and South America when it comes to race and classism. Native Americans are treated like 2nd class citizens and treated like shit. Blacks in the Dominican have a superiority complex and think they're better than Haitians and don't want Haitians coming over even though Haitians are technically Latino too, they just speak French.

Latino girls date white guys b/c most are financially secure. If you're a Northern Mexico, North Mexico is rich and majorily white while further down the skin gets darker and poverty is more noticeable. If you're from a certain part of Mexico despite you looking white, you'd still get looked down on as being dirty, poor, and it's really like Romeo and Juliet. Northern Mexicans rarely associate with Southern Mexicans. They have their own style and culture, it's very different.

There are some moms who raised their kids by telling them: "when you get married, you have to improve the genes"; and it can be as a consequence of the ideal concept of beauty a community can have. Also, it could be related to social standart or to just boast about their kids daitng foreign people who can be wrongly considered as superiors.
Let's not forget that not too long ago the majority of handsome actors known worldwide were white guys, so maybe it's a result of that situation as well.
It also happens that latinas and Asian girls have been under chauvinist societies in which men used to not care of what women could think or feel, what was pretty different when it came to American society; hopefully, that fact is changing now but could be a possibility.

The media. The media has a lot of Latinas brainwashed in my opinion because nearly every Latina I have seen in relationship especially Mexican girls are with some white boy. After everything the Spanish did to Latin America, (raping Native American women, stealing their resources, stripping them of their culture), Latina women still chase after white boys.
I'm not too familiar with Asian media but its no secret that Asian girls in America like white boys a lot.
Some people here have mentioned economic status...

Asian men make more money than everybody in this country so I think it comes down to the media.

I'm Asian and i don't worship white guys. In asia we all want to be white because well all actors and actress are white and we think if we are white like them we are known to be rich people (they don't work their arses off and aren't in the blazing sun working) (in cambodia) if we are brown or dark we are known to be farmers (work hard and don't make money) its a status thing with us asians.. Plus if we get married to a white guy we can stay in their country. My background is Cambodian and im Australian. Parents are Cambodian but i was born in Australia.. So lucky me :)

As a Latino/Hispanic guy, I can assure you that the vast majority of my female family members do NOT worship white men. 97% of my family members married to men of their own ethnic group. I only have one older sister who's in a relationship with a white guy and one aunt from out of town who's married to a white man and their race/ethnicity or their "social class" had absolutely nothing to do with it.

In asia, having light skin with big eyes and a "tall" nose is defined as beauty and it's known that Asian girls want to get with white guys because they have that, as well as the Asians believe that their babies will have features that are defined as beauty.

Having a tall nose is suppose to mean you'll be rich or something. there's other supposedly "lucky" things to having those beauty features

My mom in the 1980s had a thing for white guys and she got with my dad and had me. They've been happily married for 25years.

I have to disagree im latina and my Grandma is traditionally mexican so she prefers all of the family to date within their race. My family agrees with her opinion. I tend to have crushes on hispanics or latinos but sometimes I think white boys Are cute usually celebs, youtubers, etc but not people at my school.

The idea that "white guy" = "financially fluid (or good odds to become financially fluid)" Many would jump on race as the sole reason... but the economic factor is overlooked in this discussion topic.

Im Italian and not like Jersey shore I'm more of a nerd artist punk rock type.. I love Asian women I think from loving their art culture growing up with anime.. but I am only into dark skinned Asians girls and I prefer them curvy.. but I also like all dark thick women.. and I'm skinny.. so maybe opposites attract..
