Don't worry about being underweight, I know girls who took "you're so tiny" as an insult instead of a compliment and tried to gain a bunch of weight. Unless you're not eating as much as you should or starving yourself you can't really look that bad, 98 is fine.

At 98, unless she is taking supplements, there is no way she can be eating enough to have a proper nutritional amount, regardless of if she is a vegetarian or not.

This isn't body shaming, it's rather dangerous.

I know girls who eat well and still weigh in the 90s at the same height, vegetarian is definitely a factor though. I myself am pretty underweight and eat a ridiculous amount of food.

It's not so much the weight as the amount of nutrition consumed in a day. Also, female bodies need weight to perform functions like the menstrual cycle.

I'm not saying it's impossible to be healthy at that weight, I'm saying it's dangerous to be that low.

I'm also a vegetarian and 5'2you should probably eat more carbs to help put on some weight you are very underweight. I'm 105 and at risk of being underweight and I'm 3 inches shorter than you

That is way to light, especially for 16. I don't even need to see your diet to know that you aren't getting enough nutrients that you need.

Avg weight for 5'5" is 125. I'd prefer 110-115. But it's mostly proportional. So if you have slouchy shoulders, then yeah it's too thin. If you want to gain weight, I'd hit the gym. 5 lbs. of muscle shouldn't be too hard to gain

You may want to gain a little weight, so you are like 105 or so, I'm 5'8 with 110lb. It matters about the bfp though (look it up), At this moment, i'm at 7.4bpf... With the shortness? Screw that :D Short people are awesome!

A 7.4 body fat percentage is very, very low. The absolute minimum for women is 10%. The average is 25%-30%.

And this is for women, but for athlete women the bfp is around 14%-20%.

I'm not saying drop to a 7.4, that's way to skinny... (Only guys should get that far), You should try to stay in the 13 to 16% range, I'd rather have someone who is tiny than someone who is larger than me... Don't sweat your weight too much, you are fine :)

You are a little underweight. Try being more sporty to gain muscle which will give you good weight. Plus, it's healthy to work out and play sports.

I lived on a farm at one time in my life and walked in on a cow getting butchered when I was like 7 so I can't stand the fast sense.
