Accounting vs. Paralegal studies which should I major in?

After long consideration I have decided between majoring and earning an Associate's in one of these two fields. I was wondering which degree would provide me with a better job security? As in even if I don't work in that field I could still get hired doing something else. My math skills are pretty weak and I'm good at English but I hate English courses.

Both are pretty secure. Have you talked with your academic adviser at your school? The thing is you don't have to declare a major right away, maybe there are some courses that over lap or some intro courses in each.

Law is completely crazy with a lot of reading while accounting is just basic algebra. However with accounting it's rows upon rows of numbers and the concepts can be very tricky. It's not so much the math but the different accounts and how the money is flipped back and forth.

I've tried but they're always on hold, it sucks. I don't plan to work in that area but more like still earn a good job with my degree.

Well I took one law class and I have to take another this semester, but I've also taken accounting classes as well as a finance class. Do you have any questions about either? I have a basic knowledge of both.

Im in the same dilemma as you and i think i'll still take some time to reconsider my options cause law is about reading reading and reading while accounting is more like formats and stuff.. So i think you should check what you'r more good at and if you come across any vital information do hit me up as i'm in the same shoes as you.. by the way i also have journalism in mind :)
