Gap teeth insecurity? Should I just give up?

i have a gap. Its pretty big. I was bullied, i i begged my mom for braces. We're pretty poor so i had Medicaid insurance. My mom never took me to any appointments after getting the braces. A YEAR later, i finally go back i had to switch dentists, i dont believe that they actually tightened them, just changed colors, because i was supposed to get a root canal.
My teeth are small so later on they said that i needed a procedure to get my gums cut. So they took off my wires, to make the surgery easier.
Then then took me iff of Medicaid, but my mom never told me insead shed get mad when i asked about my appointment.
Now its another year later. No wires. Im back on medicaid, she knows im insecure aboyt my teeth, but she doesn't care to make my appointment because of other things going on.
This is controlling my life. I refuse to make more friends because im insecure. Im going to college in a year. Its affecting my social life.
Should i just give up?

Hey gaps are obviously sexy nowadays. Would you rather have a gap or have crooked teeth that get worse every few months? My teeth are so crowded they push everywhere. I have teeth overlapping teeth. I have a tooth on the bottom behind my teeth. I get mad fun of that every daybut I don't give a shit anymore. So honey... you got it good...

Crooked isn't so bad. You can't really tell in pictures. And i know a few people with the extra tooth. I need more teeth. Lol

you know what i noticed about most people with gaps? they are usually the only ones bothered by them lol
yes youve been bullied but bullies dont really need a reason to bully if you didn't have gaps theyd mock your hair or body or w/e dont mind them

But people eyes go directly to my gap when i talk to them. I get EXTREMELY self conscious. That i dont make eye contact to know what theyre looking at. Some people ask about my braces.

when i was younger i was really (ok i still am lol) into (weird looking) necklaces
sometimes id wear regular ones

but yea almost always id notice boys AND girls staring right at my chest and im kinda big chested and omg was that making me insecure lol
and one day I don't know what happened and noticed no one was looking there anymore i didn't know what was hapening but i assumed it was my shirt or something

and then they stare again, and stop again... finally i made the connection (it was the necklace not my chest) and laughed at myself lol

sometimes when we are insecure about something we tend to over think it and get a little too cruel on ourselves because of it

and by the way sometimes your own insecurities can draw attention

Yea, except mine is wider, and it has a small piece of skin in between. It was really cute in my childhood, but not anymore. Some people can really pull it off, but not me.

I have gapped teeth on the bottom, but they don't really bother except for like certain moments. You shouldn't be afraid to go out and make friends. They won't care trust me

Lol people do not care about bottom teeth imperfections. Almost everyone with straight top teeth has messed up bottom teeth. But i get you. Thanks

Yes, i would date a girl with a gap in her teeth.
It doesn't change her personality and only adds a 'gap' to her looks, which i happen to think is kinda sexy. It certainly does not detract from her beauty!!
Like some girls have a 'beauty spot' on their face, which adds to her features a certain 'uniqueness' (in as much as they are much rarer than not having one), a gap in your teeth does exactly the same IMO. Thus, consider a gap the 'beauty spot' for teeth.

Now feel free to embrace it, knowing you have an added beauty feature that most girls dont have :))
