my friends told me that he wanted to hook up with me and I thought that was disrespectful so I said no I wouldn't hook up with him and some other guys heard me and I guess they assumed I don't like him. They started making fun of him like calling him desperate and creepy. They said that he has no life and that he's obsessed with me and I guess my crush heard them because I saw him crying at school when they were talking about him. And he was walking with his head down and usually he looks at me when we see each other but today he avoided eye contact. I feel really bad. Does this mean he doesn't like me?

I don't know about the "Like you" part but I can recommend you try meeting with him in private and talk about what happened. And mention that you are fine with hanging out like normal friends do but you are not willing to hook up. If he still likes you and is good with accepting that request then everything should be fine. But try talking to him at the minimum. Don't leave this where it is now or else it might lead to some crazy things such as suicide depending on what kind of guy he is. And then you will feel really bad.
