New Jersey accent Sexy or Obnoxious?

Im from new jersey and i have the "typical Jersey accent" and most the people in my school and family do. Its kinda similar to the new yorker accent but not everybody in new jersey has the accent only north and some times in central jersey. Is is a turn on or turn off?

Obnoxious. Typically northern accents just annoy me. I also think they talk too fast and just speak very loudly overall. I realize I'm generalizing, by the way so take this with a grain of salt.

And of course, my opinion could probably be just because I'm from the south so people here all have southern accents which means they speak slower and draw words out more. So really, it's just different and I'm simply not used to hearing northern accents.

I didn't praise southern accents either. I simply said that's what I'm used to hearing so that probably influences my opinion of other accents. Read carefully before commenting to people like that.

Me and my friends where in New York for a shopping holiday last Christmas and we went into New Jersey as we heard they make the best pizza there anyway I met this Italian American guy there and he was of course from New Jersey he had a sexy accent I loved it
