Do teenage boys get jealous of other attractive guys? How often does it happen?

When I was a teen I wasn't even sure what girls considered attractive lol, I would be jealous in general just out of a desire to look good, but I wouldn't hate anyone for looking good or better than me. That's the way I am at least, I don't know about other guys.

Also like someone else said, guys are way more likely to be jealous of another guy's girlfriend than another guy's looks. In HS at least, girlfriends kind of set your social status, unlike girls where I feel like it's more your looks.

Yeah but a lot of guys don't date/have girlfriends. Actually the majority don't. Do you mean the girls they sleep with? Because I've never heard of a guy be jealous of another guys girlfriend. Usually it's a really hot girl that they slept with.

Because I heard at least from guys I know that getting a good looking girlfriend is easier than getting a good looking girl to sleep with you. Because for a gf you need a good personality and interests and a good looking girl to have sex with you without a relationship is really hard because girls don't have sex with guys without being in a relationship typically and for sex it's not about common interests,

When I said a lot of guys don't have girlfriends. I meant high school guys. I never see HS BOYS be jealous of a guy bc of his gf. I usually hear "you boned her?"

Well yes, that's cause 50% of high school guys are just about the sex. :P

I just tried to avoid that in high school so I am not very aware of what the sex scene is like.

You mean envy. Jealousy is when you don't want to share what you have, Envy is when you covet something bellonging to someone else.

Envy is common, but attractiveness is very unlikely to be the cause of the issue as opposed to money, sporting performance, success with women.
The only case I have seen of that, was a pair of bisexual guys and then it was more about physique and fashion sense. (no to cast any aspersions on the sexual preferenced of anyone else.)

There is like "that one in the group" that will be and it will be an extreme case usually.

Most guys are under the impression that looks aren't that big of a deal to get a girlfriend or a date so most guys won't pay attention to the guy's looks. Usually when someone is jealous of a "good looking guy" they don't even pay attention to his looks and think him being a "jerk" to be the reason why he has a girlfriend.

I only get jealous/ annoyed when we hang out and girls flock around him. I'm like holy shit, give it a rest. My best friend, I love him to death, but he uses his long straight black hair to get women. I'm like cut your hair dude, it's getting too long haha.

Lol no if you knew me personally you would find out after meeting my friends that most of them are very attractive people with attractive careers, doctors, nurses, firemen, soldiers, farmers and factory workers lol. I've never been jealous of them and I've known these people most of my live I've even beaten some of them in terms of getting girls on occasion.

eh I know when I was in HS I kinda struggled with telling who was better looking than me (still do). Plus I got enough girls on my own and am not really a jealous type, still I guess it could've happened occasionally idr.

Yes, and it goes well beyond teenage years into adulthood. I've found out my friends didn't invite me to parties before because they were afraid if I showed up girls would like me more than them.

It's very rare. Looks and attractiveness are never a cause of fighting like girl do.
