Can you smell when a girl is on her period?

Question

I'm sure I can smell it when my girl is on her period. It's a very distinct smell and I notice it when it's her time of the month. Girls do you notice it and how does it smell to you?

They’re right, you can smell it on yourself and on others. I think some of it is dependent on personal habits; bathing is #1 on that list! Absolutely shower / bathe every day, throw some extra perfume on, and if you’re exercising a lot…. Definitely… and especially if it’s a heavy week… the one who posted that it smells “metallic” is correct; that is the iron in the blood ~~ which is actually a good sign your body is doing the right job…ridding itself of that period, even if we don’t personally like the smell. I know I hated it when I had periods. It the fishy smell you do NOT want…. That does indicate there is a problem, but one that can be corrected.

The only way you'd be able to smell is if she hasn't changed her pad for a long time. Disgusting story I know, but when I was 12 when I first got my period I didn't know that much about it. I only changed my pad when it got too full and not all the time. I found out from my classmates that I stunk. I still feel disgusted and embarrassed when I think of that. I don't know why I didn't just change it all the time just because it's gross anyway to sit in your own blood all day. If the girl keeps herself clean you shouldn't smell it. Also most girls wear tampons. I can't wear them unfortunately, I wish I could.

Sometimes but mainly just after they've used the bathroom it smells like metallic period blood.

Yes you can and some girls tend to smell like fish more than others depending on their hygiene , tho their are girls with good hygiene that smell, in that case it's caused by Bacterial vaginosis, Retained or forgotten tampon or Trichomoniasis.

Yrs. There's a very distinct smell. That's a little discomforting that others seem to be able to smell it.  I'll be uping the perfume in a couple weeks lol.

I used to be able to smell This on my Math teacher in school. Certain times of the month when she would come over to assist me with some problems, I could 'Smell' her own----Problem and friend.
She wore pants all the time but there was something about these times of the month with Ms. Howard where my Nose was the sharpest on me of all... no question in my mind, sweetie.

It's why I try to use more body butter lotion and some hair spray that smells really nice to cover it up and I also make sure I chane my pad frequently. If I have to (or if I can), I'll take 2 showers for really long day. Second and third day is usually heavy for me. Day 1 and anything after 4 is pretty light.

Of course girls will judge other girls if we can smell them. The only way another person would normally be able to smell it is fi a girl hasn't changed their pad in a while. I normally don't smell it on other girls though.

You can smell it however a lot of it has to do when they dnt change their pads regularly or use wipes to stay smelling fresh and clean.. aah this sounds gross but true lol

I can't smell when gals are on their period since they try to mask the smell. I can however tell when a gal is pregnant before she shows and says she is. Of course I won't say anything until after she says something.
