Would girls be bothered by a mattress on the floor?

My bed broke last week so I got rid of it and I've just been sleeping on the mattress on the floor. The thing, is I've found that I actually sleep better this why, don't know why. It's a wooden floor so it all looks a bit Japanese to me! lol.

If it was totally up to me I'd carry on like this. But what do girls think about it?

Actually that is one of the recent interior design trends, it has been used so many times in catalogs and magazines, and now people are doing the same thing at their homes. The thing is though, it should look intentional. For example keep your floors clean and tidy, get appealing sheets, blankets and pillows. It's a look that I like, unfortunately I don't feel safe unless my bed is higher.

I kinda like the look of it too. It's a wood floor and the bed clothes are nice. I keep the place clean and tidy anyway but once I knew the mattress was gonna have to go on the floor I used some anti bacterial floor cleaner to be sure, maybe I have a touch of OCD going on. lol

Assuming the mattress still has sheets and a quilt on it (some guys dont have a sheet on the mattress and its really gross), then yeah, I'd be ok with a mattress on the floor.

Oh,, your place also has to be a lot cleaner then. I dont want no cookarachas crawlin on me.

Hell yeah, it's not like I dropped my mattress on the floor and my standards with it. Wanting to live in a clean and tidy place was the prime motivator for getting my dollar up, so to speak, so I could live on my own. You make sacrifices doing this though.

Me ma' bought me a wicked set of bed clothes when I moved in, I can appreciate how they're definitely worth the money!

Happened to me once. I was moving into my nee place and the base was at my old place. I only had my mattress. So, a
couple buddies of mine and I went out to celebrate. I end up hooking up with this chick and decide to bring her back home. At first I thought she was going to go away but I learned that they don't care about the mattress itself, its what you do to them on that mattress.

Yeah dude get a bed. By the time you are in your mid 20s girls want you to have it together. To girls it will look like you don't have enough money to buy a bed frame no matter how you spin it to them.

Dang, I was wondering if some girls might see it that way and I'm sleeping so well! I live alone and work all the time so it's not easy to arrange delivery. To me it's a logic thing though, I don't share with anybody, stand on my own two feet and my place is totally decent. I wouldn't judge me as poor! lol

Yeah … well maybe college age girls would be down with it but sadly the older a girl gets the more she expects. If it feels better on your back than go for it and just don't worry what girls think. Also I would get your back looked at :-)

Sadly indeed. Things used to be so much easier! I don't think I've changed much since maybe 18, now the women I date have certain expectations, bills to pay, a professional job to handle. My back, thankfully, is in good nick. I think I just like sleeping low down lol

No judgement if you genuinely sleep better than way, I, however, find I'm really uncomfortable sleeping on a mattress on the floor. Don't know why.

don't bring home a snob. if she's real and not into you for your possessions then she won't care. my boyfriend simply refuses to waste his money on a bed frame because money is tight. I don't mind at all. id rather him spend his money on more important things. you're fine, just do what makes you happy:)

We bought a low bed a few months ago and I sleep extremely well now, very happy. Can't sleep in high beds anymore, though.

Hahaha! Maybe the place could do with a woman's touch, never really bothered to personalize my pad. If that's what you thought would you take it upon yourself to be that girl? Or would you think na that's not for me, he's some other woman's problem lol

I am a nurturing person, I would probably take it on. If we got serious, I would make sure I brought over meals to make sure you were eating ok and then one day while you were at work I would make sure your bed was no longer on the floor and leave it that way with a new (non floral bed set) to surprise you.
